I disagree.with the base assertion of the article. It does not substrate its assertions with data. If you like liberal opinion pieces then this is perfect for you.

Interesting you disagree is the topic of the article. True, there are several sentences and statements made which I take exception to. ” The American Electorate is Bitter” is a true feeling in the average United States Citizen.

The country is too polarized between Democrats and Republican. Both voting along party lines, earning big paychecks, and get affordable healthcare while the majority of their constituents struggle to meet the bills. In a republic, compromise is the rule. Right now there is no compromise on any matter.

Compromise is needed to obtain any really success. Until the stalemate is broken, the Electorate is going to feel bitter. They want action and the government is not taking any.

As your piece “Elected Office Wanted- will commit crimes for votes” states, “It is entirely up to us if this political strategy works or fails.” The Electorate needs to take action. However, if they feel it is hopeless and don’t act we will all lose.
